Launching the first episode

As an early Christmas gift from Howest, The Security Podcast by Howest just launched the very first episode of a 3-part series about GAICIA, a collaboration between UGent and Howest, where we do research on the added value of AI in monitoring OT networks to detect security attacks.

In this first episode, Nico Declerck interviews Stijn Huysentruyt (UGent) and Kyra Van Den Eynde (Howest AI Lab) to talk about the relevance of this project and how both universities worked together to make this project possible. We talk about the current security measures for OT networks and how AI might improve those. We explain possibilities of AI in network monitoring, but also its limits.
