Howest launches second episode of the GAICIA podcast series
GAICIA stands for Behavior-Based Artificial Intelligence against Cyber Industrial Attacks and is a Tetra project about today's industrial security and the possible added value that AI could bring to this.
GAICIA is a collaboration between UGent and Howest, where we do research on the added value of AI in monitoring OT networks to detect active OT security attacks.

Launching the second podcast
In the first episode, Stijn Huysentruyt (UGent) and Kyra Van Den Eynde (Howest AI Lab) gave an overview of what GAICIA is about and what the reason and therefore the purpose of this project is.
In this second episode, Nico Declerck interviews Tijl Deneut (e-BO Enterprises) to go deeper into the security aspects of this project. Tijl Deneut explains how easy or difficult it is to monitor OT environments, what benefits OT monitoring brings, and what risks are involved when monitoring OT networks.
